This site has been created to give an account of our impending 3 year driving trip around the world in a Motorhome.

Who are we?
Mick and Mo, a retired pair taking our gap year at the other end of our working lives.

Why?
We have a son living in Australia, we love to travel, we want to see more of the world. The difference now is we have plenty of time to stay or go as the mood takes us.

The seed of the idea was planted 3 years ago and the departure is in April 2006.

The whole trip will consist of three sections, the first across the Atlantic to South America, the second across the Pacific to Australia, the final leg across the Indian Ocean to Asia, Europe and home.
